On September 5th, we released the AVCCAM Importer software for download via the Panasonic Pro Video homepage. 

It is a plug in software that expands QuickTime usability within MacOS, making it
possible to natively handle AVCHD content within a MacOS.  Displaying an icon within The Finder, Quick View, and even play back with QuickTime Player is now possible. It makes it easy and convenient to use AVCHD content in a MacOS environment, including editing with Final Cut Pro 7. 

Installation is easy. Simply place the binary file in the desired location. 

We decided to develop the plugin software after receiving many requests from users to increase compatibility with Final Cut Pro.
